UPDATE: Chinese provider changes application procedure
As reported on 24.08.2019, the providers of the Chinese Embassy have drastically changed the processing of visa applications. How does this affect you right now?
Due to the changed procedure, the submission of visa applications is currently delayed by (in average) at least 4 days. Therefore, plan with a significant delay in processing and issuing of your visa.
If the Chinese provider detects "faulty" documents, they will be returned to us and a new submission is only possible with a completely new application form. This means that no missing documents can be added or incorrect information corrected - the provider now requires a complete new application. Only when the new application form is signed by you in the original, we can book a new submission date for you.
Update: please keep in mind that due to chinese holidays the consular sections will be closed on
Munich, Hamburg and Berlin = September 30th - October 3rd
Frankfurt= October 1st - October 3rd
