Some countries require an invitation to issue business or tourist visas. This may be an invitation from a company located in the target country, an invitation from an authority or a person registered in the target country.
In the next sections we will inform you how we can support you in obtaining an invitation for the target countries China, the Russian Federation and Saudi Arabia.
No matter which visa is the right one for your travel to Russia, you always need an invitation to apply. We are happy to take care of all business and tourist invitations for you.
What we need
For this we need an e-mail with the following content from you:
- When should the invitation be valid and for how many days is the stay planned?
- How many entries are planned?
- Which places will be visited?
- What is the purpose of the trip (technical support, meetings or...)?
- Attached a color scan of the passport (coated double page) of the traveler

After ordering, we will inform you about the inviting organisation by e-mail - you will need this information to complete your visa application.
If we are notified on the invitation from Russia, you will receive an e-mail from us informing you when the original documents can be handed over to the consular section.
It is also possible to apply for invitations for up to five years. We will be happy to explain details of fees and procedures to you personally.
Time frame
Invitations can be applied for at the earliest 45 days before the planned entry. In addition, the traveler's passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the visa period.
If these requirements are met, the processing time for procurement is
a) up to three months visa validity (for single or double entry): 5 days
b) six or twelve months visa validity (in case of multiple entry): 12 - 20 days
The cost of the different invitations depends on three different factors (type of visa, period, speed). They are in the following range:
