K-ETA – Korea Electronic Travel Authorisation

The K-ETA is required for tourist and business travel (client visits/meetings).

  • Current status: The requirement is suspended until 31 December 2025 – however, we still recommend applying in advance to expedite entry.
  • Validity: Up to 5 years, linked to the passport used for the application.

Arrival Card

Required - if you are entering without a K-ETA, or with a visa issued by the embassy and endorsed in your passport.

  • Since April 2025: To be generated online, no earlier than 3 days prior to arrival.

Q-Code

Required - if, within 21 days prior to entry, you have been in – or are arriving directly from – a country listed as “Quarantine Inspection Required”.

Have you decided to apply for an e-visa? 

The procedure is as follows:

  1. Enter an order via our EASY ACCESS portal under this link and upload the following documents:
     
    • Passport (data and front page)
    • current biometric photo
       
  2. Your documents will be checked immediately. In case of discrepancies or missing information you will receive feedback from our eService team.
     
  3. As soon as the e-visa is available, you will receive it as a PDF file by e-mail or as download.

You want to ensure that your photo meets the requirements of the embassy and that your visa is approved without delay due to different quality or format requirements?

We ask you to consider:  The photo must meet the official biometric requirements for the purpose of applying for a visa.

You can recognize a biometric photo by the following criteria:

  • The background is monochrome (white/light grey) and shows no objects or patterns.
  • The head position is aligned to the camera (automated biometric identification of the face and iris of the eye would be possible).
  • The facial expression of the person portrayed is neutral to serious (if you smile, your mouth must be closed!).
  • The view is directed directly forward into the camera (neither to the side nor up or down!).

Simply send us the photo digitally. We process photo sizes, duplicate and print your passport photos in the required number and quality.

  • The visa application may be multi-paged with many questions and/or complicated to complete. Frequently the questions asked are very complex. This takes a lot of time for the inexperienced.

  • The application process runs online via a server in the target country, with frequent disconnections or stops in the process, because something has not been completed in the application as the embassy would like it to.

The application procedure is as follows:

  1. You create an order in the Easy Access portal and under "Booking options" for the relevant country, select "Complete the online application using Business Visum". Then fill out the form under "Application form" and upload the necessary documents.
     
  2. We prepare the visa application (online or offline) and send it to the traveler so that he can sign the original application. He will send it to us together with all other documents for the visa procurement. As a result, our usual visa procurement process will start.

You can determine the speed of the application support yourself, depending on the desired urgency.

Not everyone has a translator at hand right away. Depending on the document and the specifications of the target country, the latter must be approved as a sworn translator. Particularly in the area of documents to be certified, professional work is essential, since inaccuracies are not recognised by the authorities.

The Embassy of the Russian Federation and some other Eastern European countries, and in exceptional cases China, require proof of travel health insurance when applying for a visa.
