Extension of visa exemption for 45 countries until the end of 2026

The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Berlin has announced that visa-free entry for 45 countries (including Germany) will be extended until the end of 2026.

Travelers with a valid, ordinary passport will therefore be able to enter China without a visa in 2026 for business and tourist travel, academic and cultural exchange, visits, and transit, and stay in the country for a maximum of 30 days.
